Now im no maths genius. But you say Stones has got 1 year left on his contract. YOU THINK the contract he signed in the summer runs to 2015 so isn't that 2 year?

Oh and nice dig at Bobby again

I said last night i thought the contract was until 2014 or 2015. Someone said it was to 2015.

Good post up until the dig at Bobby then you ruined your chances of getting a like. Do all your posts have to go back to the same points? Like I've said Phil, scratched record.

The Hassell swipe was as obvious as the other points you were trying to make. Stones is under contract until August 2015, by the way.

no contract runs to then Mr.C.
Most of them run to the last day in June no matter when they sign the contract.

John Stones is not good enough for the Premier League, IMO, at this present moment. He's often caught out of position, struggles when dribbling/trying to beat a man, and his crossing is gash.

But all these things can be improved upon, as he's young. And I believe he will improve, whether that be here or somewhere else.

I think he's already a top player at this level, and potentially a Premier League quality defender. So it doesn't shock me to see him being targeted by wealthier clubs.

I hope we at least hold onto him until the Summer, but if we do sell him, I'm hopeful that the club will for once get a fair price. If we sell him for anything under £2.5m without clauses etc, we'll have once again had our pants pulled down.

As for Hemsworth, nice post, apart from the usual snidey digs at CLUB LEGEND AND SUPERHERO Bobby Hassell.

    Also a little point...

Hassell has a number of young children and his wife is mid term with the next one.

Do you think it is fair on her that he spends every spare moment he can at oakwell?

No it doesn't. It means other clubs aren't aware of how much money we have to spend so can't increase asking fees for players we want to bring in.
