But who made Armstrong the God who can talk on behalf of everyone? You believe a guy who cheated for so many years when he says everyone in Cycling is on drugs?

For obvious reasons I wouldn't take Armstrongs word as gospel.

    I think that should be

"It was the culture. We all did it."

The Armstrong years were unarguably dark days for the sport, but don't seek to tar all current competitors with the same brush.

Most of the riders who have spoken out against Armstrong in the first place are also convicted drug users in the sport. If we applied the same logic to them then Armstrong would never have been sussed out.

Also, if you want actual quotes rather than wildly paraphrasing:

Armstrong at no point implied that doping is rife within the sport today, quite the opposite in fact.

Don't let that stop you though.

Lance Armstrong a liar a cheat, and lost all the respect he ever had.
yes hes come clean about it but all these years hes been telling sports writers and journalists everywhere he was clean.

People growing up looked up to him,a role model,
he should not be allowed to cycle in competition ever again

Why do we judge those who've been caught or suspected and then confessed, apologised, and are now back cycling much more favourably? Is telling the truth enough for redemption?

I don't have a particular opinion on whether Armstrong is any worse than those people or not, was just interested to hear others views. Is it worse because he was the best and therefore the hero? George Hencappie's reputation seems to have emerged in tact largely, is that purely because he implicated Armstrong? And if so was that just to shift the focus off his own cheating? Armstrong is getting blamed for not naming and shaming, but maybe he feels that isn't his role to do so, just to admit to his own mistakes?

Just random questions spinning round my mind. Its a very dull place.

Are you saying Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish are on drugs? If you are then you really do need help.
