That was a very disturbing video but one that people need to see. I cannot believe that a human would be able to treat any animal in that way. Horrendous.
The dark and horrible side of human nature. Its so sad that people can do that and not feel anything for the suffering of the poor animals.
Human race is the best and deadliest predator on earth. We farm animals for food and when you weigh up our system of survival it beggars belief
With that power should come grace and respect. You would never see an animal do that to another. Those sows in the film are just as protective as any mother would be to their children and experience enormous separation trauma as the piglets are taken off them at a very early age and go into alternative feeding. This will cause the sow to immediately come into season when she will then be artificially inseminated and the whole hideous process starts again. It is the pressure on the industry, the demands and profits it has to meet that cause such bad management and cruelty. I'm not one to moralise but if people insist on eating meat for every meal, these things are going to happen. I do not want to be implicated in this misery and greed, which is why I went veggie many years ago. I can only speak for myself, but I would suggest people get clued up to exactly how their meat is produced.
cheap meat=terrible welfare for the animals,end of story,all caused by the supermarkets and their consumers.. I admire your stance Mr C,good on you.
