It is baffling me as to why Blackpool, Blackburn, and reported Bristol and one or two more are interested in him. They are football people and would not be interested if he was no good. So why his he not wanted by the Barnsley fans. Can it be that Keith Hill has made a mess of him the way he played him. Most of the time he was thrown in out of position. He looked better every time he played in his true position, on the wing.
He has had a confusing career at Barnsley. When you analyse Hills time here he was not as good as he talked. If anyone could make sense of him anyway. I think Wiseman is probably better than what we give him credit for. I expect the one liners, but engage brain before mouth please,.

Blackpool aren't interested in him. Their ex manager Appleton was. Who is now at Blackburn. Hence their interest.

It might just be that Appleton is a poor judge of the player and sees footballing ability that I personally haven't seen in Wiseman. I think he's an awful player at this level.

Hill has a lot to answer for though, in that he put the lad in the team out of position and then made him skipper to spite his critics. All it did was turn up the heat on Wiseman. I feel sorry for Blackburn if Wiseman is their future.

Quite possibly. Only need to look at immediate improvement of daggers and McNulty, after he went. More evidence of what a deluded crank Hill was. But it's up to wiseman whether he wants to play for us or not. No loss if he goes

IMHO Scott is a poor mans Glenn Johnson... Decent going forward but questionable defensively.

Always thought he did a decent job at fullback. Had one decent game at centre back. But once players returned from injury frustration grew as he kept his place in front of fans favourites... But performances were lacking playing out of position and his confidence deteriorated. I blame Hill for this!

McNulty was player's player of the season under Hill to be fair and Daggers has been excellent all season

Maybe Flicker 'could' get the best out of Wiseman. But if we're getting money for him, I'd rather take that than risk hoping he'd improve tenfold. He isn't a defender, IMO.

Good. Let's hope one of them actually signs him. He cost us about 100k, so if we include the wages he's been paid, I'd like about 200k.

Please let Bristol sign him. That can only boost our survival chances.

Because he was made captain by Hill and was played so often that to a club who has done next to no research and has only watched an highlights package sent by his agent or seen a handful of games he will look better than he is. Captain? Must be a good player (how often have we signed a player or been linked to them and seen he's the captain so there have been positive comments on here about him?). Been the only defender to have constantly kept his place in the team while the others have all been dropped? Must be a good player.

Poor research from clubs leads to them making bids for **** players.

That's probably how we ended up signing that **** defender, Scott Wiseman.
