Got to agree with everything tyrone1 has to say on this subject.

Wiseman is a decent player that has been chased out of the club by school yard bullys that call themselves fans.

As for Hassell - he isnt good enough because he is too slow. Hill could see this, Flicker can see this, no other manager is desperate to sign him, even I can see that Hassell isnt good enough..........and yet we get a barrage of comments on here in support of Hassell because of his loyalty to the club.
Well let me just explain that I am also loyal to Barnsley Football Club.........but I dont expect to play for Barnsley either.

 

Then why isn't there an outcry against Stones?

He's taken over the position that was Hassell's. Yet there are no demands that Hassell replaces him.

The fact is Wiseman is not a good defender. I have watched (as I know you will have), and he is too easily brushed off the ball. Yes he has pace, but not the strength to compete. Putting him at centre-back worked for a while, but against P'boro at home he was awful.

I agree with the comments that Hill didn't make things easy for him. He wasn't playing well and should have been dropped long before the Blackburn debacle. Why Hill played him in that game only he will know.

But the idea that fans drove him out is ridiculous.

And if he was so keen to leave, why didn't he accept the terms offered by Blackpool?

Neither are good enough in my opinion but of the two Wiseman is by far the worst. Worst RB since Carl Regan.

I'm just relieved (and mystified) that Skeletor seems desperate to sign him. He must be a visionary like you Nudger.

 

scott wiseman hasnt been good enough,simple as that and thats why hill dropped him.

might have been good enough at rochdale in a division lower,but he's not up to it at this level.As for fans driving him out,i've never heard owt as ridiculous,other than on here theres hardly been anything said,certainly not at the matches.If players are daft enough to read forums then more fool them.
