I didn't mind that, I like to think he was taking the mick out of himself as much as me!

 

We could have gone and got him if we had wanted to. Was probably the question if he could do it in the championship that made us drag our feet over it. 500k would have got him and he would have come to play for Robins.

 

Just after he first started posting on the BBS, he was getting some proper pillock on here, I talked to him and told him that he had the same rights as anyone else to post his opinions, as long as he respected the views of others. He only seemed to grasp the first bit and i wish I had let him stop posting , because it is getting to be just one big attention seeking **** up on here lately.
He wants people to bite at him , but then he wants the same few every time to come riding in to "save " him from the bullies, I think he sees it as some kind of Care in the BBS Community !!

Bad decision that, as far as poor judgement goes that's up there with best of 'em that one. That could even give the Hammill and Vaz Te fiascos a run for their money that. In fact I would go as far as to say that that sounds like something I'd do. In fact it's so bad I'm surprised I didn't have something to do with it.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, we signed Davies at the same time, who'd scored more goals than ALF the year before, on a free transfer. I remember at the time people saying one gamble was enough.

Oh and Vaz Te. Think he and Davies did well together last season

 

It's not hindsight, many on here were screaming for him to be signed a good 12 months before Davies arrived. As Mark said, we could have signed him for 600k but the board tried to be to too cute with Rotherham, thinking they could allow his contract to wind down and get him for nowt. He'd slightly gone off the boil as a move was on the cards and we were blindsided by Reading. Fair enough, he would have chose them over us but we could have moved a lot quicker.

 

wasnt there a certain issue over his attitude as well?? sure in a interview robins himself admited this????
