Sat watching television with the missus. Almighty crash in the kitchen ....she gets up to investigate followed by me (well she was nearest the door) sees someone in our kitchen and shoutd...get out of my house ... he legs it! The two of them scarpered down the garden. Now you would think if there is a car in the drive and lights on at the front and the security light comes on in the back garden when you go towards the back door you would think twice. Anyway they kicked the panel in on the double galzed door smashing the rebate at the same time. All this at ten past eight in the evening.

I know this guy that lives on the Crown Estate at Cudworth.
He and his missus were sat in the dark watching the tele late one night when they suddenly became aware that someome else was stood at the side of the setee watching the tele.
He says...........who the foooking hell are you ??? !!!
And this guy says to him...........can tha give me a lift into TARN mate
His missus screams out
And then he says ..........tha better foook off mate
So this guy just turns around and casually walks out of the house

Makes my blood boil. You end up paying and even if they are caught you are left with the financial and emotional cost. Scum.

My mum & dad had double-glazing installed in their house near Wilthorpe. A couple of months later, while they were watching tv in the evening, upstairs some burglars had REMOVED a back bedroom window, gone straight into their bedroom and stole precious jewellery, of great sentimental value. Obviously (to me) an inside job, as they knew exactly where to look for items of value. But the b*****d thieves had the confidence to walk through the streets at night time with a ladder. And of course, they were never caught. I think they got a victim of crime report and were offered counselling!

First thing we did. Besides he was only in the house for a few seconds so hadn't time to nick anything. In any case I dont leave house/car keys lying around specially as it is a pretty new car. Alarm goes on at night as well and the kitchen has the back door alarmed AND zone protection as does the basement

This is what would greet you @ my house.Me brother in Brierley was sat in front room looked out window,and saw 2 guys loading his 42 inch Tv into a van,took off, He got it back after a few ear holes were thumped.

 

Been a burglery in Wilthorpe area in past couple of weeks where they kicked the patio doors in. 2 lads / men seen on street in a black car just before, dont know what type. B******s
