I find it quite sad when people are using this interview to justify there dislike for the man.A fella stopped me in town to tell me about Hills interview I told him it was rubbish and made up but his mate who by the way complains daily about BFC since John Dennis and Spinks left told him it was right so it must be.We're talking an intelligent bloke here who must know the article was false but spreads his rubbish to justify his dislike.Hill came tried his best,it wasn't good enough for whatever reason so he moves on and so should we.
I think the point is that a lot of people read that spoof article and didn't question it's validity (at first) which suggests that a lot of people didn't feel it was out of character.
It's ok. Keith's already done an interview today having a pop at us. And I'm sure he'll do so again - press con at 1pm, allegedly.
To take the plss out of someone who essentially takes the plss out of themselves is futile at best. It said more about the dull imagination of the poster. I don't like those Blackadder spoofs either, what a waste of time.
The parody / spoof post was just bit of tongue in cheek humour. Clearly some people took it in the way it was intended, i.e. as a bit of a laugh, nowt more. Some people bizarrely took it to be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth (despite the article linking Keith with Man U and Chelsea!). As for the people who used it to attack Keith, don't you think they'd find something else if not that? Saying I have a "dull imagination" is a bit harsh though Mr C. It may not have been to your liking (each to their own of course), but come on now! To those who took it to be the truth, in the immortal words of Wakefield's finest, the Cribs: "You sold your soul for magic beans. Don't believe all you read on computer screens. These things they mean nothing to me" (or summat)
I really enjoyed reading it but for the life of me can't belief anyone with an ounce of intelligence could think it was true.

That's a rather arrogant comment!! It showed the guile of the poster for being able to phrase the 'interview' in such a way as to fool half the people who read it. I can't believe you'd attribute that to a 'dull imagination'. Nowt wrong with a nice bit of satire.
