Tyrone1 in ..... 'don't slag Wiseman off' ....plea to fans ..... after 9 years of persecuting Bobby Hassell!!!!
As far as I'm aware he's never posted personal comments about Hassell and his wife which is what the Wiseman article is all about. All I've ever heard Tyrone post is that he doesn't particularly rate Hassell which is fair enough. These personal attacks on Wiseman's personal twitter account are really sick and some people ought to get a life.
That's BOOBY Hassell. There are some callous gobshites on here and there are some who like to think they are holier than thou and conveniently forget their own indiscretions. I'm not orud of myself at times either. There is a decadence to the ease of internet communication, particularly those who do not remember, or did not experience life without it. I don't do twitter, don't understand the lingo and wouldn't take it seriously if I did. It is the modern equivalent of hate mail and the poison pen because it is not backed up by a physical presence. It is bullying, there is no doubt about it and I find it highly disturbing that school children are doing this to each other. If he goes to Blackburn he could well be in for more of the same. The football svengali that is Keith Hill has to shoulder some responsibility for signing a footballer one or two leagues out of his depth.
We never seem to pick the correct whipping boy at Oakwell. This season's whipping boys should have been in descending order:- Berk McNulty Done Wiseman. Personal abuse on twitter is pathetic though.
No, I wouldn't say so. He was a disappointing trier perhaps, for the best part of his first season. And I think that was highlighted by the loss of Adam Hammill.
So everyone's tarred with the same brush are they? I've criticised Scott Wiseman the footballer (I use the term loosely) based on the majority of games I've seen him playing in a Barnsley shirt. At best he's only ever been ordinary, the rest (vast majority) have been between poor and clueless. His decision making is poor. I don't know the guy personally and I take Jimbo's word that he is a nice guy. I don't condone personal attacks on him or his family on social networks or anywhere else. To be honest I'm not particularly interested in his social/private side, I'm interested in the playing side of things and I'm affraid Scott simply hasn't performed for us and I doubt he has what it takes to play at this level. By the way what is 'orud'?
Jim O Brien needs to concentrate on recovering his own form rather than jumping to the defense of someone who cant defend.
I accept the fact that there's a difference between berating a player on here for his performances and personally slagging him and his family off via facebook/twitter etc, which I would never do or condone. My comment to Tyrone1 was more tongue in cheek than anything (as I do know him very well) ....... but I just couldn't resist it, given his crusade to 'rid us' of Sir Bobby, despite the massive majority saying the complete opposite for years and years!
us lot on here? the BBS, is that what you are saying? then I suggest you read the article from the Star you have cut and pasted. It says he has been abused on TWITTER. So now US lot on here await your apology.
