J37 northbound is closed. Taken an hour an a half to get from Sheffield to Barnsley. Had to go up to J38 and turn round.
Went to see Django at Centertainment and got myself into a bit of a mess. Junction 37 was closed. I then tried getting home through Darton at Junction 38 but just couldn't get up the hill. Ended up going to junction 39 and coming home on the A61. Was a gamble as I was driving further away from home but it seem to pay off.
Snap, although saw Les Mis. Currently attempting to get back to Penistone. Hoylandswaine hill should be fun.
Funnily enough I've not seen any flakes for a few weeks either. Mind you, we still have snow in the garden from before Christmas. I think I'll put the snow tyres away....... oh, hang on a minute, we can still get snow in May here.
I loved it, went back to see it for a second time and wouldn't mind going again, but then I like the music and the musical itself. It's also a good story, and the film tells the story much better than the musical does, it's certainly emotive and a lot of the women were in tears at the end. However it's 99% music, and with most music, it's always better if you've heard it a couple of times before. You might also enjoy it more if you're somewhat familiar with the story. I'd certainly recommend going to see it though. There's a reason it's the most successful musical ever and now that it's at its most accessible it's worth giving it a go. Give the music a listen on spotify or youtube first and see what you think, then expect it to be 10 times better at the cinema and in context. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcCFHZOUV6k
