God, they're awful. I always find Crooks annoying but today he's actually the less annoying of the pair as Savage seems to be intent on forcefully starting sentences with no idea how to finish them. "The point is, . . . er, . . . er, . . . ", "I just think, er, you know . . .".

They seem to be enjoying themselves a lot more than any of their viewers could possibly be.

At least when Gabby's on there's some, er, relief.

Garth Crooks is the most articulate pundit out

I really like Savage, although I think today's outfit needs some explaining. What is that - a cardigan? I think he works a lot better when paired with somebody who's got a clue though, as on 606. Crooks is useless.

I like Savage, very unbiased and up front with his opinions.

Not like Jamie Redknapp who just says what could have happened. Pissed me off the time he said, had he hit it on target he'd have scored. Considering the shot he was talking about was a missed open goal. I thought to myself, I could do his job on a fraction of the money.

I don't mind him normally - he's opinionated enough to be entertaining - but he's making hard work of listening to him this afternoon.

I quite like the cardy / waistcoat combo actually, although I'm well known for my complete lack of taste.
