His inflated wage (and ego) will compensate for the bench-splinters no doubt.

His bank balance will more than make up for his career going south. Sod him, I couldn't care less if he never plays another game.

Davies not being around is bringing out the best in Dagnall. Looks like Chris prefers playing with Marlon next to him.

The reason he left = more MONEY! Same for Hammill, Mcindoe, Howard, Buttercup. You can't tell me they left because they thought they were Premiership quality. Surely deep down they knew they were average Championship players at best. Not one of them left to better their footballing careers.

that's usually why anyone leaves a job though, you can't blame them

for most it hasn't made them better footballers, but richer ones

Not one to slag players off when they leave but he said some to Rob Staton after the 'Brum away game he wanted a new contract and was sick of moving clubs constantly. Was settled here etc etc. Remember Staton tweeting it.

I'm not blaming them as such. I suppose its human instinct to be greedy. Richer is better and all that.

I love this pathological craving to "move on" all the time.
Lets never talk about the past shall we? Jesus, its like we should wipe our minds clean every night and pretend our past never happened. Tell you what, I'll "move on" the day:
    No one mentions:
    Lance Armstrong
    1966
    The Olympics
    Queen Victoria
    WW1
    WW2
    blah, blah

I mean, all this bleating on about the past, just mindlessly think about the future all the time, that's what its all about...

I remember he said that, had a few clubs, time to settle down. but he left Chesterfield without a second thought, was alway going to do the same to us, but like so many, it'll probably turn out to be a bad move career wise but he's probably doubled his wage, and there's nowt between his ears, so he probably couldn't care less.

I can see nothing wrong with following the fortunes of those who've moved on for the coin. It's quite funny imho, when the fall on their arses, only drinkwater seems to have settled in his new club, and maybe vaz the waz, many others have used us as a stepping stone to a step backwards. Including Btian Howard, he dictched us for the money and now he has no club he wants a chance to come back? I would get him in for a week of training, and then tell him to f-off, greedy b**tard. That would be as funny as anything!
