Pretty much my thinking mate. Hate that club, hate everything about what happened to the REAL Wimbledon and how they were shafted.
all well and good, but they're not my club. Barnsley are. my priority is supporting my Club, and doing everything I can to help get us into the last 8. your support is needed in the stadium, not watching on SSN
1) We get a bigger cut of the gate as it's the FA Cup 2) Their fans are ****, so there's a good chance we'll have the better atmosphere if people turn up 3) The team need us to back them under Flicker and this resurgence needs to continue. Momentum 4) If we didn't draw MK Dons, someone else would have 5) You're a Barnsley fan, sort your head out Saying that, I've refused to pay my train fare and a £36 ticket to go to Elland Road for this last two years out of pure spit for lining their coffers.
To be fair 1-5 boil down to the same thing. Whilst I agree with the sentiment, I could list reasons why not to go to many clubs ... On this occasion, more than others, BFC has a lot to gain from us attending. I absolutely hate the way that MK got into the league, but my concern is BFC... I intend to support them.
If you haven't got principles in life then you've got nothing I've always said I'll never set foot in that ground - even to watch Barnsley. Can't really understand how anyone can unless they are too young to understand what went on and are too lazy to find out.
reason to go.............there was 1 football league club...............there are now 2. also it did,nt stop 1,ooo,s of wimbledon fans attending stadium mk only weeks ago.
1) Bumps up our share of the gate receipt. 2) Great chance to reach the quarter finals of the FA Cup. 3) 180k prize money so could do with a few thousand down there to cheer the team on. 4) Chance for peeps to do the old/new ground double for MK Dons after going to the hockey stadium.
Re: If you haven't got principles in life then you've got nothing I said before the draw I'd probably go to our fifth round game unless we drew MK Dons so now I'm really struggling with a moral dilemma. Fourteen other clubs that would have avoided this but we have to draw effing MK Dons.
I wonder if MK Dons had drawn a different team if the fans of that club where talking about not going due to a fu.cked up mentality
Like I said. It's about principles. Thank god not everyone has the mentality that issues which affect everyone have nothing to do with them. It's a Thatcher creed that stinks.
