    What the f*ck is up with this site nowadays? Used to post regularly but the amount of personal feuds at the minute is pretty pathetic, especially as we're all on here due to our support for the same club.

    Rise above it, it's only the internet.. you bunch of keyboard warriors!

    Basically what has happened is this:

    For decades I have been a campaigner to restore the wetlands and marshes along the river Dearne from Cudworth to Denaby.
    In doing this I've upset quite a few people along the way including the RSPB.
    Now then, PontyRed has obviously been talking to one of the people that I've upset so has started giving me a bit of stick on here about it.
    I sort of laughed it off what PontyRed was saying and then I started providing more evidence of all sorts of other incidents that has happened to me in the past.
    Obviously PontyRed didn't like my approach so has then started sending me 'private messages' through the message board threatening to blackmail me over a certain incident.

    As posts were becoming more and more heated and the private messages were becoming more dangerous I've then tried to contact Site Admin several times asking them to put a stop to it.
    Unfortunately Site Admin were very very slow to act.

    The amount of knowledge PontyRed knew about me has convince me that this person can only be one of maybe three people. One of these is a heavy drinker. Last night they were probably off their head.
    I've started making enquiries to find out exactly who it is.

    So lets leave it at that.

    To be fair Nudge:
    1. The minute I saw your PM asking to take action, I acted on it (as if I haven't got anything better to do than trawl through some endless squabble). It took me a good ten minutes to work out what all the codewords meant, and it was only at the end of the thread it got personal. I removed the thread as soon as I could. Two other people within the team were onto it also, but probably had to go through the same process as me. Ponty Red was banned as soon as we'd read and digested the full squabble.
    2. Contrary to what most people believe, site admin do NOT have access to anyone's PMs, so we just can't check.

    Hang on a second Nudger - you're out of order there

    I'm going to take the bait here as I've just had a really **** seven hour meeting at work.

    1) Site Admin don't monitor 24/7. We try, but we don't manage it, due to having other lives outside of a football club Bulletin Board (families, jobs, etc.)
    2) You contacted site admin once through the e-mail/alert function just once? At which point I think the post was removed instantly. I certainly didn't receive a personal message from you or anything like that?
    3) As you just said in your original post, you laughed off the first few messages as banter. I'll hold my hand up and say at first I thought it was just a bit of joking around until the messages/insults became repetitive
    4) It took me personally over 20 minutes to read all the messages in that thread, so there's always going to be a delay from posting to monitoring to deletion. And that doesn't include reading the other threads as well. Who says we should read yours first?
    5) We don't have access to accessing personal messages. I actually spent 20 minutes messing around on the admin settings trying to view (despite it being nearly midnight and having to get to London Euston for a 6am train the next morning)

    Show a bit of gratitude and paint the bigger picture, rather than making sweeping statements that are quite simply incorrect.
