Think he thought Rose was disrespecting his stature or something (laughable)..... thought Rose played it brilliantly.
I think he was embarrased about being out jumped by a shortarse teenage lad, that just emphasised how woeful Shittu's performance was tonight.Danny(Rose) did well not to be intimidated.......pity it wasn't Dawson,my money would be on the leprechaun rather than the fat old has been.
It was an eight stone weakling, out-jumping him in his 16 stone space ..... every right to be annoyed.
He'd not had a great game and the Rose incident dented his ego and was the final straw for him. I think once he had a chance to sit down and reflect on things he'd be slightly embarrassed by his behaviour and would apologise to Danny.
Absolute nonsense. A young kid whose been told he's not physically ready to be playing in the Championship doing his best to make an impression and rough up a big centre half. Much rather see him do that than wuss out or hide.
Did he **** hide behind perkins. He stood uo to him from what i saw. went up to him to say good game and all that and shitu was still been an idiot.
Yes he did Phil 2 of the smallest men on the field couldn't have reached Shittu's chin if he'd knelt down. It was the funniest thing I'd seen And I still think Bobby would have won a header against lead boots **** house
He's not mentally ready. He can count himself lucky he didn't come off hurt. I'm not just talking about the Shittu incident, flying around like an idiot with the game won? Put his temperament next to that of John Stones and you'll see what I mean. You can laugh about it, but he was in tears the last time a centre half roughed him up. Watching him hide from Shittu behind Perkins was ridiculous.
You're joking. If that game had have been 5 minutes longer Shittu could have been sent off/ given a pen away. Rose had him wound up by being slight and out-jumping him. That's not being a liability, that's being a pain in the @ss. I wish all BFC players would be like that. Rose by no means the finished article, but he's alert, and tries stuff other players don't even think of. (Just look at the way he lined up for our free kick on the edge of their area). I think he has a future.
He and the club have both stated he wasn't in tears because of Shackell - he was emotional at scoring his first BFC goal - Flitcroft misinterpreted it. I think you're being incredibly harsh on a young kid trying desperately to make his mark. You could get away with calling him naive, but a liability? Geez.
He looked close to tears tonight. Having said that myself at 6ft 2ins and 18 stone would have been if I'd see Shittu running 50 yard at me
