    ........ by not making 4/5 changes to the team EVERY match and not persevering with the 4-4-2 system with Scott 'the rock' Wiseman at centre half

    He also needs to work on his communication skills because so far he hasn't told us ....

    a) we are the skintest team ever to play in the 2nd Tier of English Football;
    b) it will be a miracle just to stay in this division;
    c) that all our fans are tossers; and
    d) that he will get another job even if we get shut of him

    Joking apart, fantastic lads since New Years Day, pleasure to go to the games again, and to all those who aren't going at the moment ... you don't know what your missing!!

    PS. We aren't one of the three worst teams in this league by a long chalk, I think we will stay up

    Mi dad said last night that if we do go down then we must be one of the best sides ever to get religated from this league.

    The Reds are staying up.

    I didn't say we were 'too good to go down', I said we aren't one of the worst 3 sides in the league, I agree that any team can go down if they perform badly enough for long enough.

    I said in another thread that the bottom 3 could look a lot different in May than it looked at Xmas. Wolves and Brum are only where they are today because us, the fowls, Bristol, Peterbro and Ipswich were so crap up to Xmas.

    I think those two (and Hudders) are in big trouble

    We are too good to go down on current form, unfortunately we were **** and stuck with Hill for too long which left us with a massive job to stay up. We should have picked up around 12 more points from our home games but Hill threw them away.

    Keith was obviously holding Flicker back ;)

    It's not just that we've won a few games, it's how we have won them that's been impressive. Had we scraped the same wins without playing much differently, you might argue they were a temporary blip due to a change of manager or a few freaky results. However Flitcroft has clearly done more than just win these games, he's changed the formation, changed a few players and clearly got them all playing better and running through walls for him, each other and the club. There's also a belief and confidence in the side which was lacking under Hill.

    Long may it continue.

    Too good to go down, wasn't that saying started when Forest were relegated from the top division under Clough?

    On current form we clearly wouldn't go down, but that's just current form.

    Id be concerned if I was a Huddersfield fan. They've dropped like a stone since a good start and haven't won in their last 10 games (taking just 5 points).

    The teams job is to keep playing like tey have in the last 5 games. If they do that we will stay up because plenty of teams will play worse than that over the course of the rest of the season.

    Just shows how bad a job Keith Hill has done in calendar year 2012.

    Hill should have been sacked after Weds game........he could have had no arguments about it.

    Yes at the very latest, he should have come close to the sack after the debacle of a 'defensive' away performance when we lost at bottom of the table Coventry last season, the game where the rot set in for the rest of the season, and also again at the end of the season when we were 'relegated' but saved by pompeys demise and ten point deduction

    The way we are playing and the standard of football and work rate it would be a travesty if we do not keep up. Talking about Flicker, did you notice how he greets the players when they are subbed. He greets them as though they are his own family and really thanks them for their effort. Daggers and JOB were absolutely nackered

    The Secret Footballer makes some good comments on this subject. Early days, but you get the impression that Flicker has some of the qualities needed to make a good manager.

    The more I read and see the more I can only conclude that it was Flitcroft who was responsible for keeping the players going under Hill even though the results were poor. I've seen other teams under such pressure implode, but whatever you thought of the team under Hill, this didnt happen.
