I'm glad you think its great as he will need all the support we can giv him. Theres no reason at all why he can't be a very effective wing back in our system.

When he does get back in the side we need to give him support like we have with Daggers. Hopefully he can turn it around like Daggers has. Keith Hill has created the 'Wiseman situation', hopefully Flickers can turn it around.
    Good luck Scott.

Here here! Hull was the start of a new relationship for Scott and the fans and I will be right behind him and fully supportive because he can be a decent wing back he's got all the attributes but needs confidence and support!

He's become a better player since he got booed, dropped, and picked up the sympathy vote of some fans who feel a bit sorry for him. It won't alter the fact that neither he nor mcnulty are good enough.

They all get my backing during games but if wisey is stonesys replacement then the quality of the team has quite simply been reduced.

Scott Wiseman is not good enough at football full stop. The fact he's not got the mentality to cope doesn't help.

We're in a relegation battle, a fight. I wouldn't want to go into battle with Scott Wiseman on my side.

But that's just my opinion. I'd rather play with 10 men. He's that bad.

Some of you are right drama queens, I thought last season he had some decent games when he was played in his correct position, it's not his fault Hill was playing him out of position which lead to poor form which lead to poor confidence.

I am actually quite confident he'd make a decent right wing back- though I bet we won't see that with fans like this booing him from the off.

He can play a big part, if he steps up to the plate. Its down to Scott now, he is going to be played in what I think will prove to be his best position but he needs to perform, last chance saloon. He has my support while wearing the shirt.

    In fairness

If he plays more advanced I hold out a bit of hope. He's not a right back in a flat back 4 but has the pace to play wing back imho.

I don't think he can say anything else.

One thing's for certain though - if he does play wing back he'll have to be **** loads better than he was on Saturday.

I wasn't his biggest fan as a centre half but he wasn't as bad as some on here made out and I think he could be a decent wing back for us. If he is picked I'll back him 100%.

Mmm, I've got more faith in him doing 'ok' at right wing back in our current formation, than I had in him being the 'captain, lynch pin, centre half' under Hill.

At the end of the day he will either step his game up to the level that's required or he will get f**ked off, I've got faith in Flicker, at the moment, to do what's best for the team, rather than picking Wiseman every match, like Hill did, just to prove a point that he was right and 'we' were wrong!

His performance at Hull wasn't good by any means. He was constantly out of position, he gave the ball away numerous times. When he ventured forward, he often stopped (didn't have the intent) midway and played the ball back (ok, not necessarily a bad thing every now and then). He's got the pace and he's shown on occasion he can be a decent defender, but he has to work on his positioning and he has to start doing the basics way, way better.

Was he that bad or do you just not like him and your judgement is being affected? We kept a clean sheet and won so he wasn't that bad!
