As a wingback with less defensive responsibility I have faith that he will come good. If he can regain his form of a few months ago that will be a big stepping stone. He'll certainly get my full support.

    Re: In fairness

Me 'n' all. I've got be honest, I don't think he's been very good at all in any position he's played so far. The odd good game here and there, but generally pretty poor. However, the lad has got pace to burn. He's pretty fit too. I think that athleticism will be very beneficial in a wing back roll.

Think as well to a large extent he's been a victim of circumstance - played in place of Hassell which looking back I suspect was more bloody mindedness on the part of Hill rather than anything else.

Think it's time to start afresh with him, cut him some slack and see where we get to. if he's not good enough then fair enough, but I'm not writing him off yet.

    Exactly !!!

We have a really good player in Wiseman..........all what this guy needs is knowledge that we support him
Problem is that we have so many negative ******* on here and at the WELL thats prepared to boo him

Flicker knows that Wiseman is one of the best players at the club.........and the manager is having to go out of his way to p[rotect that player from a bullying crowd
    It needs to stop

Yes he was that bad...I would have replaced him at half time rather than just after...I applauded the lad off,and still want him to do well, but it seems unlikely

I've always supported the lad at the games, and I still will do. But in 90% of those games I've seen him play in, he's been pathetic.

That's not bullying, or being negative. That's my opinion.

At Oakwell (or away grounds) he gets my unwavering support, as does any lad wearing the shirt. But I'm ****** if I'm going to be brainwashed on a forum into believing a player that's failed habitually in 70 plus games, is actually 'unlucky' or 'needs our support'. He's a footballer getting paid very well. About time he manned the **** up.

The fact that a club legend who never has a game as bad as Wiseman, is left out in favour of him, just adds to the hilarity of it all.

*cue the dislike from Googs et al*

i'm with whitey on this one,I just dont think he's good enough.

as for bullying?,i've never heard owt as daft in my life.having a poor opinion of someone doesnt make you a bully and where are all these boo boys nudger is on about?.Anybody would think he's had some right hammer at oakwell.Considering how poor he's been he has got away scott free, whatever went off on twitter is not an indication of what goes off on a matchday.
it strikes me as wiseman gets the monk on as easy as hill did,and he were another that wasnt good enough, all wind and pi55.

all scott needs to do is put some performances in.

I think he'd be good in that wing back role where Stones has being playing. If anything, I feel he may even get more balls into the box. He's got pace to burn too

Yes he must be the quickest at the club

The thing is.............everybody is behind Flicker at the moment because of how the team is playing

But comments on here and booing of Wiseman is actually saying to Flicker......"tha dunt know what tha talking abart"

Now we either support what Flicker is doing and saying............or ................we dont !!!

The "bullying" of Wiseman hasn't been on the pitch I think the problem has been twitter attacks on his family which have been bang out of order.

My problem with Wiseman being in the team is that in his last few games, he has barely put any effort whatsoever into tracking back. Charges forward like a man possessed and then jogs back. The Blackburn game was prime example of that.

I'd be happier with O'Brien or Cranie playing at wing back.

I'll give him every chance. I don't think he's good enough and there's added pressure of being a replacement for stones. I totally hope he proves me wrong. There's evidence in McNulty and daggers, that hill has ruined them and that flicker cn change their game.

Come on Scott lad, make us all apologise

Like the rest of the team at the moment Wiseman needs our full support. It's as simple as that in my opinion.....The current circumstances dictate the fact that we need to constantly encourage and applaud everyone even if things go awry in games....
