Absolutely love that episode. I watched it with my dad when I was little. Like a rite of passage that. 8-1. 8 bloody 1.

On the old BBS mine was originally Load Bearing Pillar in the West Stand as it was long and stupid and I thought people might notice it. Also it gave people chance to call me Load Bearing Pillock.

But when i registered on this site my name was too long so i had to crop a bit off and now it just sounds rubbish, not that the original was any better. I can't be bothered to re-register so it's a cross I'm going to have to bare until the end of my days.

Get ready to break the bank mate, suddenly everyone wants to go see him....

Oil City Confidential is one of the best rockumentaries of recent times. Wilko is like some freak master of ceremonies, completely engaging though I couldn't imagine being in a band with him!

The Canvey Island backdrop is beautifully photographed, a completely unique and surreal part of the country. I went there once to pick up half a ton of clinker for an art installation I was curating. Happy days.... :)

In my defence, I did use Tyketanic on here years ago, but it fell in between the cracks and I had to change it... Unfortunately. Would happily change back....

I don't think there's a band on the planet cool enough to be able to carry the name off.

Without being branded some sort of keyboard warrior i would genuinely like to hear hemsworth-tyke's explaination of username choice.
I feel me and young Phil have been building some bridges in recent weeks.

I wish I could claim it was football related but alas I wasn't that good. Nope I gained my nickname simply because my surname is Kemp so I was christened Mario or Mario Kempes.

    My name's Luke.

I used to post as Zadok on the old board, taken from Handel's coronation anthem, because of it being used for the Champions League.

I should've followed DJ Fatty Boy's advice and used the name Scart Lead.
    Or maybe not.....
And, without sounding like an arse, cos I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before, I've shared a stage with Wilko (support band, obviously), and it was probably the most enjoyable night of my life. The highlight for me was meeting Norman Watt-roy, (bass n that), but the whole band were absolute gents and I'd give both my knackers to see him on his farewell tour. To support him again, I'd give a few limbs...

If you don't know why I'm FBC then I'm not telling you. I was Dude way back when both this board and Viz used to be funny.

Short for The Legendary Dino Zoff, a nickname given to me to honour the fact that I kept net in exactly the same way that Dino Zoff didn't.

i started watching the reds in 74 when the strike force was peter price & john peachey ... whenever i typed that into a spellchecker like the one on here it changes it to peachy,
which is also an adjective i like

john peachey made kayode look like lionel messi if you never saw him, so it was an attempt at a clever sort of irony...

My initials are DAR so DarkTyke was my original name on the BBS.
For some unknown reason I could never login when the bbs changed servers even though I kept the same password. So it became DazFrumTarn.

Mine was Chef Tyke because Shefftyke had already been taken and I was from Sheffield.

I'm not a Chef. I used to be Adam Hinchcliff, back in the day.
