if our new found wealth will inspire PC to appoint a proper Chairman and board of directors. Let's face it, the transfer window is shut and we will not be buying any players, so maybe some of the money could be put towards salaries at board level? I am sure Don is a nice bloke and works hard, but he does seem to be running the club pretty much on his own. He's not only the wrong man for the job, he's the wrong man for several jobs. It's too much for him
What happened to that solicitor bloke from Manchester who was supposed to be joining the board? Can't remember his name but wasn't he with Man U or summat?
I don't know mate, but it seems to be a good opportunity to put the club on a more professional footing if no buyer is on the horizon.
Ha Ha yes, just crayoning them in now, hope the staff will let me out of the asylum for the afternoon
have heard they have bought loads of them smelly cubes to throw in the west stand troughs, even mixed the colours to make it all feng shui
Would you please inform us of your credentials to judge the work that is, or is not, being carried out by Mr. Rowing.
Supporter of the club for 40 years. Season ticket holder. I think that entitles to me an opinion, and if you disagree, I couldn't give a monkeys.
dude, he's retiring. cool your jets. all the haters will finally get their wish at the end of the season. then they'll need to find something else to vent their spleen against
All the more reason to get a proper structure and people in place now. There's going to be some sophisticated planning required for next season, especially as we'll not know what division we are going to be in until a couple months hence, maybe even to the last game. It would be better of that planning was done in conjunction with, or even by, the new person/people responsible for taking the club forward. I am sure PC will make an announcement in due course......
Yeah but you want Cryne out, to give the Club away for £1 and for the fans to run the Club with the fruit & veg man. Classic organisational structure, right?
my jets are cool mate, I was just getting the point across that it seems an ideal time to restructure, rather than Don only having a short time to hand over close to his retirement. It's only a matter of weeks away now in fact.
I assume the position of managing a multi million pound turnover business will either be advertised for in suitable journals or Mr Taylor will be using his many contacts within the game to find someone with the nous to drive us forwards. Or it'll be Mark Stokes.
Maurice Watkins, he was involved in rugby league, wigan IIRC, not sure about man u. Not sure he is a solicitor either. A manchester solicitor holds Patrick's shares on trust, double barreled name, can't remember it now.
