    I've managed to get hold of the developer who did it last time. He will create another version for this version of the site on an hourly cost and hopefully one that we can use when we upgrade the site. Probably won't cost more than a 100-200 dollars

    No...all we need is when people reply to someone they use the quote facility. I can see if there are new responses and go straight to them. Yesterday I saw a 2 word response from someone and even when I switched to threaded it took me ages to find who he was respondingf to.
