    That last trip against Cardiff was one of the best weekends of my life and my 2nd best experience of watching the Reds. Would love to go back. Different hotel this time though.

    Ok here goes, short version. Hotel was on Sussex Gardens and didn't have a reception (well it did but it was across the road in another building).

    Got up for a pee at about 4am on the morning of the match after a strenuous night out the previous evening. Didn't realise the toilet was outside the room. Ended up being locked out boll0ck naked like Mr Bean.

    Fortunately my ex-wife was in a room 2 floors up. Ripped the net curtain off the toilet window and wrapped myself in it. Ran up 2 flights of stairs and knocked.

    Imagine it from her point of view. Fast asleep in a hotel room when ex-husband knocks at door at 4am asking to come in. After an age she let me in and all was well.

    Anyway I managed to stick it in the net which was more than we did that afternoon.

    The people i was referring to in my earlier posts was not aimed at those who live away from the area but those from in and around the town who latch on and when you get them into Wembley you have to tell them Barnsley are the team that play in red & white.
