Do you believe that the access road (beaver court) could handle an extra 194 cars all leaving at the same time after games?

Maybe so, but the police block the junction at the lundwood roundabout to allow traffic to disperse quickly. I know because i park at the old Brewery and walk up. Don't see a problem personally.

You've already said that you don't use that carpark though so you would have no idea of how badly the traffic flows down that narrow road.

Where are the 194 extra cars coming from? The residents?

That's the thing, they may well be the same customers who would have been turning left at the sandwich shop and going the same way anyway!

If it is more than sufficient then may I ask why the road is always queuing on BOTH sides of the road (ie on the wrong side of the road) the entire length of the road? If it was sufficient for its current use then the entire road wouldn't be a queue would it? Nor would traffic have to queue on the wrong side of the road? Furthermore vehicles wouldn't have to turn round on pontefract road and leave the area when they are trying to access beaver court after matches because the road was inaccessible to them due to the queuing traffic trying to exit (happens every game).

And that is a question of whether it is sufficient for its current use, nevermind whether it is sufficient for its future use.

Moving the carpark there is all well and good but in my opinion the current road isn't suitable and a new road must be built to access the new carpark.

My main concern is that the current good form may lead to higher crowds and many of them will come in cars. This will inevitably have an adverse effect on people trying to leave the ground after the game and will lead to congestion, delays, grumpy wives and burnt teas.

It will not affect me too much as I use public transport, but what a selfish get I would be if I thought only of myself. The sooner we start losing again, the better for everyone.

That's a bit like saying you know how long it takes to drive out of the grove street carpark (upto half an hour and more at times) because you've walked through it even though you've finished walking through it in about 3 minutes
