I know its a big game..for both teams, but theres still along way to go whatever the outcome..and I think and hope we'll win, with the form we are in.. But if we don't, don't be too down....remember when it was our promotion season to the prem..Bolton were running away in top spot, and it was between us and Wolves who went up with em... We played em down at Oakwell with about 5 or 6 games to go..may I just remind everyone that Wolves won here 3-1 that day, and went above us into second spot, dome and gloom....and then Wolves never won another game from then too the end of the season...And the rest was history... Hope we win on Tues...but if we don't, its not the end of the world...a lot of water still to go under the bridge...
Hope so... but don;t underestimate Wolves. they have some very good players..its if there up for it, or not..that will determine the out come. If they are then we'll be in for one hell of a game... if there not...they may as well sack Dean Saunders now, cos if he cant get em fighting on tues....he's wasting his time...
Im not so sure - we have won 5 in a row - the run has to end sometime and we have history (under the previous manager admittedly) of being the go to side to end none winning runs I hope we win and there is a good chance we will but I wont be the least bit surprised if we dont. But as Spider says even if we lose its not the end of the world - just a disappointment we need 5 more wins and will still have 14 more games to get them in - 4 more from 14 games sounds better though
Wolves got a good point away at an in form Derby yesterday. I am expecting them to be determined not to lose and get men behind the ball. They will be difficult to break down and may frustrate us.
Just keeping the optimism up. I don't expect us to win, just hope we do and at this point think we will. Can't wait for it tbh.
The system we are playing with two super subs have transformed us. Do not under estimate what Wolves are up against when they come here Tuesday. Have faith lads.
So many teams involved in scrap now a true six pointer but I definitely think 3rd bottom will have more than 50 points at end of season possibly even 53 or 54.Motivation will not be needed.
I'm not massively looking forward to Tuesday. We've dropped off a bit in the last couple of games and if we allow Wolves to siege us like MK Dons did for 30 minutes of the second half yesterday then they'll get at least one goal However, looking at the fixtures of our rivals for the rest of the season, a point tomorrow won't be two points lost.
I'm obviously in the minority that didn't think we played especially well yesterday - with the notable exceptions of the front two, Golbourne and Perkins.
We are due a defeat and Wolves are due a win - so many times we've been in this situation and the team who can't buy a win take all three points away from Oakwell. I just hope Flicker isn't asking too much of the players, by the sounds of it they've not really had any time off in a long time and the games are starting to come thick and fast. Flitcroft is drilling all this information into them on opposition, making them watch the opposition live where possible, and it doesn't matter how much you are paid your brain can just become fried at times...been there myself on more than one occasion and you just need a break from everything being so full on.
