Yeah, Leeds are a very up and down side - have been all season. There's no danger of this Barnsley side not turning up, I think most Barnsley fans will struggle to remember a team that looks as unified and works as hard as this one. To get a result we need to play fantastically, have a little luck and youe team need to play poorly.

Really? We used to go there for a drink pre England games before they moved em back down South for the southerners. It is the one down the hill from the train station down a side street on the left?

Hah, I might be out on a limb but i'd rather Barnsley stay Barnsley than find ourselves in your position. Of course our history is very different to yours - you've lived in the shadow of Man Utd, been up and down the leagues, had some great players etc. If I were a City fan I wouldn't mind being bought out and have all that money pumped in to the club. But as a barnsley fan, we have it good already. Smallish town club with a 2nd tier record better than any club in the land. We've seen them all come past us in both directions and whilst it's a shame we've not converted some of that 2nd tier occupancy into the Premiership - it's a club that's rooted in the locality and not at the behest of some rich man's personal play thing. And we've got that to be thankful for.

Genuine question though - do some City fans feel like part of the traditional City died when all that happened?

    Its 11 v 11.

Can't believe some people are being so defeatist. We will need things to go for us on the day but there is no reason why we can't go there and get a draw. We will need to attack them but it is possible. It's a great draw, exactly what the FA Cup is all about, personally I can't wait.

Possibly - But that 20 minutes after QPR scored their second on the final day last season is the worst I have ever felt about anything in my whole life. Worse than any relegation, worse even than my dad and brother dying. Not proud of that, but it's true.

So when Aguero scored, we all felt the most amazing rush, and at that point, it really doesn't matter who owns the club. It's ours, not theirs.

As for hotels: Britannia, Gardens and Sachas are all close to Piccadilly and all great

Agreed. On the day, there will be 6000 Barnsley fans bang up for it. And that's what counts. But for now, I don't think it's defeatism, it's people being realistic on a bulletin board

Midland in a great spot for getting to all different bits of town, so all good - also have a look at Malmaison, Hilton or the Radisson that used to be the Free Trade Hall - they're all dead handy.

Lowry obviously lovely but it's a bit out of the way for a drinking night out...

    I think it's because

They're expecting us to field a weakened team, what with us having our eye on 21st place in the Championship glory.
