Getting boring, and the league campaign (particularly tonight's game) is far more important.

I think we will draw 1-1

I can never make midweek home games but annoyingly I am out at a meeting tonight so wont even get the Barnsley Player commentary either - just be sneaking glances at my phone periodically

Starting to annoy me too, came on here expecting a lot of people hyped up about tonight and everyone's still babbling on about Man City

I say 2-0, a bit nervous about it though. Not because we're in trouble of we don't get anything buy people will panic and think that's it

    absolutely agree Jedstar

the Man City game is a nice thing , its a pay day thats all we must expect.BUT it could be another Anfield we never know. BUT we do need our players to shelve it till the 9th and get ourselves into the calm waters of Mid table. We have 4 league games coming up all winnable, but our opponents will all feel that they can defeat us too. After the next 4 league games they then begin to get a bit tricky. We need our lads to be totally focused and committed to the league games. I will be very disappointed if any of our players shy away in order to keep injury and disciplinary free in order to get a game against Man City. I for one do not want to see us slip back to the AleHouse ever again.

do you not know how to reply in thread ,

so that we know who you are actually responding to, use "Go Advanced". Sorry mate if that came a cross a bit surly, it was not intendedd as that. I do agree that the Man City game is beginning to eclipse everything else , just as the Liverpool and Chelsea game did 4 years ago. It is important in many ways, we need to show ourselves well win or lose. BUT and this is the big issue to me we simply must not lose focus on our tremendous league run and thus our Championship place for next season.

I've had ten pound and fifty pence of sterling on us to win tonight in a single bet at 13/10 which pays abit over 24 English sterling back.

    Eastfifetyke - question for you:

Have you moved permanently from East Fife to North Hykeham?

    Just interested, that's all.

Yes, had changed my name to Hykehamtyke then the bbs was reinvented so went back to my original name. Been living on the outskirts of Lincoln over three years now.

Cheers, mate. Drove through there the other weekend, and was offered a job there many years ago, before the by-pass was built (turned the job down at N Hykeham College - or S Hykeham College).

    Enjoy the game tonught.

    U Reds
