Out of interest, is it possible to upgrade an OAP one to an adult ticket - as my dad can't go, but my nephew (who has been to a number of away games and a couple of home ones this season) can make use of it, and we could then sit together? It might be academic if I can't get a sooner flight from Ireland, but I'll look at those possibilities later.
Season tickets are non transferable so no you can't transfer your dads ticket to your nephew for him to buy a ticket. It's in the terms and conditions
No I don't think he's an utter c0ck as I'm not part of the HT bullying ring. I don't agree with a lot of what he posts but that doesn't make me think he's an utter c0ck, it makes me think his opinion and outlook varies to mine. I think there are people who fit the term 'c0ck' a lot better than HT, but that just my opinion and I'm sure you'll disagree with that. I think people who cause arguments and twist things others have said in a ridiculous way are more suitable to be labelled a 'c0ck'. Though I have to say the thought of someone wasting a ticket like that makes me very angry and maybe even deprive them of oxygen for a while.
Hang on a minute though. I'm 61 and have a concession ST because the limit at Barnsley is 60. Man City concessions are for over 65s. So that excludes me from buying a ticket because I can't get a concession and I can't upgrade to a full price.
And someone turned up absolutely **** faced last night but it doesn't mean that we should give out free beer to everyone at the next home game does it? I ask again. Are you considering buying a second ticket purely to stop someone else from going to the game? And how would you accomplish this when you don't have an OAP ticket?
And remember to stick to the rules - don't stand at the ground, swear or have a drink before the game - think twice about singing as well!!!
Yes I am shocked at you HT, as I see it as a malicious thing to do and I didn't think you were like that. As for the club selling adult tickets using an OAP ST in the past, this is wrong as it states quite clearly they are not transferable. I can understand why you would be angry if you bought tickets this way for the last 3cup games but as its within the rules tickets are non transferable the club are within their rights to enforce this rule. Maybe the adult who benefitted fom the use of your Grandads season ticket should consider buying their own ST. Please don't let a ticket go to waste like that HT, you're better than that.
causes a problem for me but i can understand why they have done it. I take 3 kids. one can't go to man city and another is only 8. will be first away match he has been to and understandingly his father is apprehensive about him going without one of his parents. it would make sense to use the unused one for the father, but now neither will probably go.
The club do not think or more they change the rules and treat the fans like s**t eddie. I defend them all the time. Why when they treat us like that.
I'm sure you can get a ticket. BFC will be aware that our tickets are 'over 60' and MC are 'over 65'.
Or make sure the people they consider most deserving get tickets. If you have a ST when why does it even matter? You'll get a ticket.
Trouble is nothing stopping people getting the kids ticket and giving it to an adult. It's a scan entrance to the ground and I doubt anyone'll be checking.
There will be alot of very old looking 11yr olds getting in for £5........doubt they'll check em at City
You would hope stuff like that is sorted in negotiations, would expect all our OAP ST holders will get the concession price.
