Business can't do something different from the past in a single year without saying so publicly.

The Koreans have just introduced a law that means your online identities have to be your own and in your own name. When you register for stuff (like forums) you have to input your citizen ID card number. Makes everyone responsible for the rubbish they post. I'm not sure if that's a good law or not; time will tell.

I think I'd bring in something to limit pregnancy to ensure that people can afford any children they have. It sounds bad, but people need to be more responsible.

Care to elaborate or give us an example? I don't understand what you mean.

They have said so publicly; they posted it on their website.

I agree with your second point though not sure what limits i'd choose or how.

The first one sounds a good idea. It would be good if there was a way so that all accounts could be verified and connected to real people but if the site administrators were unable to find out who it is. Don't think that's actually possible though

I'd go for making it illegal to name a person suspected of sex offences until a guilty verdict has been given. Anonymity must be for the accused as well as for the accuser.

    Agreed.

You need to input your ID code to register, so I guess we'd need ID cards first.

And I don't see why everyone is so against ID cards, either. They make life so much easier.

The speed limit on dual carriageways/motorways. Ridiculous that it is still 70mph.

I don't have a problem with ID cards, my only problem would be having to carry it with you all the time. Do you need them all the time in Korea or can you leave it at home?

I just keep it in my wallet. It's the size and weight of a bank card and can be used whenever you do anything official - booking train tickets, driving license, bank transactions, internal flights.

It's essentially your driving license, plus your place of work and social security (NI?) number.

    Here we are:

Close all our boarders as this country cannot sustain the numbers of immigrants we currently have coming in and it will get worse if the next set from Bulgaria and Romania come (nice one Tony). The knock on effect it's having on the NHS, communities, local services, benefit system I fear is already beyond repair so stop it before things get worse. We need to only allow people in who have essential skills that we can benefit from. We don't want anymore people who only benefit from us.

I think it's because as a foreign resident (rather than tourist) I get discounts.

We get away with all sorts and get loads of preferential treatment. Reverse racism almost. It'd cause uproar if it happened here. We call it the "whitey discount"

its like the green card over here luke.

although we dont carry that around, we use our driving licence for the ID.You have to have ID on you here when driving or at restaurant with alcohol. you cant drive without your licence in your pocket/wallet.and you have to have your insurance card and car registration doc in the car too.
but neither green card or driving licence have the social security number on.

People who drive in the middle lane and are not in the act of overtaking are to be taken from their vehicles, banned from driving for 3 years, stripped and Sat on platforms at intervals along the side of the motorway.
