Now this is a man. A proper man. With a proper man's moustache
That nut-case, are you mad?!! Your second video reminded me of Billy Childish. And the title could be one of his. In fact he's had so many bands it probably is him.
There you go, thought as much. I played on a bill with him a while back and this lot.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdoEPoE2s7M A pattern will emerge.
Superb! I could do this all night
Dangerously close to home for me this one. I hope Indie Red is paying attention, you can not buy an education like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klma_WjS-rg
The Brit awards have always been crap, I remember when it first started, ignores a vast swathe of British music and just focuses on the mainstream - was it a few years ago when they actually got rid of the "Best Rock Band" category?
Our lass had the Brits on whilst we were having our tea (we wanted to watch Spiral, but difficult to read the subtitles when tucking into your food) and I am pleased to say that I have now officially turned into my dad. I had only heard of three of the best singles (and one of those is only because I am a James Bond fan, the other two being on constant rotation on my daughters ipod) and had never even heard of most of the acts. However, I am now a Taylor Swift fan after her performance. One for the dads I think. I couldn't tell you how the song went though. Re Bill Drummond at the Brits, firing blanks at the audience was actually a compromise, as he wanted to throw sheeps blood at the first few rows. The KLF made up for this by throwing a dead sheep into the foyer.
