My youngster goes to all home matches but doesn't want to go to the Etihad. I hoped to upgrade his ticket to an adult one and take my work mate with me to his first football match. Can't now do that.
As there are more tickets available than ST holders who will be going it begs the question who will have first go at the surplus tickets?
If they went on general sale the club has no way of differenciating between those who, like my mate, will be going to his first match and those who are not ST holders but 'never miss a match.'

If they never miss a match, why don't they have an ST? They're paying through the nose and not getting any of the priorities either. in which case I say 'their own stupid fault'.

Think centenary/1887 members get first stab before 'General Sale' which will be first come first served.

Anyone who has bought tickets from the box office should have signed up as a member automatically I think (no additional price) and so should get a stab at tickets before someone who has never been before.

Got to applaud the club, seem to have got the ticketing fair this time around

That's very nice but take him to the Bolton match if he's that keen. Quarter finals are for fans.

If the club has any sense then after ST holder it will be fans with ticket stubs, and 1887 membership first.

i never missed a match for 20 years and never had a season ticket, if ilke me when i was younger, didnt save/couldnt save discovered beer and kebabs LOL.

i think maybe a category where if you produced say 8 stubs or more from previous games home and away that would help, that situation

Me neither, they don't go to general sale after ST, membership schemes are next.

I think there should be a category for people who can come up with convincing sob stories about how they've never missed a match for years but don't have a season ticket because they don't know how many games they'd go to and they lost all their ticket stubs because, well, it's not like the club have ever asked for them before.

it was very easy to get a ticket for premier league season especially when you know people in various roles and have been involved in the game.

I paid for every one before you ask.
