I've seen numbers quoted on here around the 1000 marker so am baffled why the day 1 category stretches over Friday and Saturday when there are potentially a lot less than that number qualifying to buy tickets. Not all that went to Hull will be season ticket holders or attended the other two cup matches for that matter. I thought the number of people qualifying under this category could have been sorted with tickets in half a day let alone spread over two. Is this down to the opening hours of the ticket office on a non-match Saturday? Surely some exceptions can be made when these big demands come around? This could have been the start of day 2 which I think will still have been a low quantity of fans.
When catergories were announced the other day it mentioned those with a stub from each cup game was day one. Do we know why it's been changed to days 1 and 2? Also when it got to season ticket holders with no stubs on day four it mentioned having a week to get them before the next catergory. No it's wednesday to the half day saturday so those people now have 3 1/2 days not 7 to get them. Why has that catergory time been halfed?
Why are people now trying to create problems when it doesn't seem to me to be any. we are selling in the region of 6k tickets not 160k
I'm not trying to create a problem. I'm just intrigued why two changes have been made since the original plan that can be seen here....... http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?185110-ticket-news&highlight=city
Was a lot more than 800, I didn't here that given out in the stadium, didn't hear any figure. I would say around 1500. My mate who was at the opposite end said we brought quite a lot!
The only thing I could moan about is the fact they aren't opening late. I've been to the two away cup games but will struggle to get to the ticket office during the week because of work.
