Correct, I'm sure people will be very apprehensive about sending so many exploitable details in hard copy. If the club are taking the time to read these letters and process it, why not ask for a phone number from applicants which the club can contact them on if successful? Much safer and can't see it running up a huge phone bill!

thanks for this information paul, the club should have put all this onto the website obviously not technology advanced enough and also if they had looked into it the tickets could have been done online with a bit of computer knowledge the sale could be restricted to each category day by day.
ill send my letter recorded delivery so at least it will be tracked and signed for

i did get a reply back from my email to the club basically its in person or post customer service at its worst from bfc sort it out don

Decades ago when I was a young lad in the 50s, BFC made everybody apply for a cup-tie ticket by post. It was a lottery job. If you won, your cheque was cashed and your ticket came back in the s.a.e., if you were unlucky you got a note of regret. That was in the days when we sold 38,600 tickets, so it shows the demand in those days

This completely contravenes PCI DSS regulations; I personally would not have all these details together in the same place.

Already put our stubs and vouchers in the post earlier today. Sent a stamped address envelope for it to come back in and a letter explaining what tickets we want and a cheque for the right amount etc.

Did this for the MK Dons match minus any stubs and everything got sorted, so it better this time. This really is getting silly though, how many more years do we have to do 'stubs' and have all this backward way of processing tickets. A computer system with points on for each ticket bought needs to happen this summer!

No mention of a cheque above. I am sure that will be fine though. The club do need to think of some way of capturing and holding data for these purposes though.

Anyone should be entitled to a postal application as long as they send a stamped address envelope to the club to keep costs down at that end for doing fans a favour. It shouldn't just be for those 20 plus miles away.

And your pin number, don't forget that. And your front door key. And your will if you've got one.

and the route you normally take to oakwell to prove you are further than 20 miles from the epicenter.

Wonder if i could create a route to Oakwell from higham that would be 20 miles or more cos i cant get down during the week when my slot is.

    Its discrimination to be fair.

I will put a cheque in instead, if it works, fine if not then I'll miss out.
