Cheers Im a brisk walker and if game ends 1925 I should make it(?) Also just checked at Oxford Road train then stops at Picadilly at 2009 so look to be ok...
Is there a location where housebricks can be obtained to lob over a wall as I recall that was a popular post-match pastime when I visited Maine Road for our previous FA Cup meeting.
I remember when we beat them 2-1 at Maine Road (Marcelle double) and we were pelted after the match. Stones, bricks, bottles...good times.
Forgot to tell you guys........ depending on the sort of game it is, depending on the mood of the Poilce Match Officer in control of the game, you may or may not be locked in for 10 mins after the game. You can never guess really, a match against our arch rivals 4 years ago ended with them being let out at the same time.......... cue world war 3....... my betting is that you will be let out, but you never know with the police do you.
Yep I was at that game too and yep our coach got all that too. Great win though. Was only 16 at the time I'm now 32 how time flies! To the city fan, any chance of getting a ticket in your end on general sale? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Menai I've no doubt there will be the odd Barnsley fan in the City end. There was talk of Leeds having a few lads in the City end, but it was really all talk. The only problem you have, is that you need some sort of ticket tracking history at City, which is harder than you might think, but not impossible.
Phil.... Iv'e been on a Glasgow Rangers forum, probably the most wild few days I've ever known, great laugh
Bugger. I live in North Wales so don't get to many BFC games not to worry at least it's on tv. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Menai Mate ... if you really, really wan't to go to the game, and can't get a ticket .......sh............sh..., stand outside the maine driveway to the gound, near to the Merc garage, on the pavement near to the King Of The Kippax fanzine seller, and there are several gentlemen who will provide you with a ticket, if you get my drift.
Went to the Etihad today.... Chelsea brought 1 coach of fans, which I've got to admit is a bit of a first fro me.
Just a note to say, there will be a tunnel cam, from the tunnel, which is quite interesting for the home and away fans. Usualy on the Official City website the day after the game. Worth a look.
We've gone for upper tier. On telly always looks like Lower tier always stood up. Is it same upper tier?
Hi tevez. Where's the best place to park near the stadium and get metro to Manchester for shopping/food. Thanks in anticipation
KEZZA It depends what you wan't to do. The Metro is on The Droylesden Line, every 6 mins match day. If you want to study the Metro Stations, go on the Metro website. There is a station outside A.S.D.A which you can see at the big set of lights, next to the ground. Manchester 10 mins away. Parking, a bit more difficult around there unless you want to pay the £10 in the official car park, and do it the easy way. Otherwise it's a Grey Mare Lane job, or further down towards town , get to the Merc garage past the official entrance, turn right, parking £5. Holt Town metro 50 yards away down the hill. Good Luck
