Who, when our first goal went in......

.....genuinely believed that we might get something out of the game? I certainly did, and more to the point it seemed like the players did as well. I think that is really significant.

 

So did the bristol city commentators

 

We always looked like we'd score, we created chances throughout. We just shot ourselves in the foot with the defending from set pieces.

Had we not conceded all those goals we'd all be raving about how good our attacking play was.

 

Well if their defence has been that ropey all season I'm not surprised! What did they say?

 

Alas, when I saw mcnumpty starting and we conceded I hoped rather than thought we would get summat.
