I will not be upset if Man City Knock us out. Every freakin time we get a cup run we get the nonsense about tickets, who deserves who does not. Personally I am sick of it. How bloody hard can it be to set out rules before the season starts. Some clubs even offer a system to pay a little extra on the ST but it guarantees cup tickets. Given that we are not One of the major forces in the English leagues surely would that be a daft option.
There should be no prolemm tbh first place to season ticket holders with away tickets first. Then season ticket holders with home cup tickets etc.then season ticket holders without either.and so on I know there will genuinely be people that follow reds that can't get s/ts for one reason or another but it must be s/ts categories first otherwise what's the point. I was out of work during the premiere season and couldn't afford a s/t that season I did manage to see a few games courtesy of family and friends but if I couldn't afford my sons and daughter one I wasn't getting one. It hurts but the club have to look after the s/ts its the life blood.
agreed but I also witnessed ticket debacles of .. the Play off final Vs Ipswich. The Play off Final Vs Swansea, The 6th round game at Anfield... even the quarters Vs Chelsea at Oakwell. Sadly all of those turned out into a bitch fight for tickets. Next season why cannot the club put in place a system where you can pay a bit of cash and take a risk.
