In his pre-Burnley press conference, Flitcroft said, right at the end - "Daws will definitely start on Saturday"
Extremely good news for us! Just need Stonesy back on loan and a left wingback before Saturday then and we'll be reight
Re: "He epitomises everything I like in a human being." Rachel Riley epitomises everything I like in a human being, but each to his/her own.
Re: "He epitomises everything I like in a human being." She couldn't beat the master of Pie Tennis that is Matt Edmondson last weekend though http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01qskbj
Re: "He epitomises everything I like in a human being." That is not one of the attributes I am interested in, whatever the fck it is.
Re: "He epitomises everything I like in a human being." Monster of a player. Yaya Toure won't know what's hit him.
He'll be blowing out of his arse after 10 minutes. Dawson has been excellent this season, a much better player than I thought he was. If he was match fit he'd be the first player on my team sheet. But after a six week lay off, away at the league champions isn't the game to bring him back. We'll be chasing the ball for much of the game. He'll be absolutely knackered mid-way through the first half.
Agreed. More important he's back at 100% for the league run-in. I'm all for playing the best XI available on Saturday, but he's the one player I'd protect if he's not ready. Anyway, we'll need him for the semi-final......
Plus we rushed him back last year when we signed him and he wasn't as effective. Although he does have three lungs. And he should be able to run on empty in front of a packed crowd at The Etihad against the league champions. What damage that might do for the rest of the run in though. Unless Flicker's just playing mind games with Mancini. Typing 'The Etihad' just made me really glad I don;t support Man City.
He's exactly what we need. He may not be match fit but he'll still be able to run for longer than a lot of players. This game should get him match fit for the league.
