The big worry is that him being here is on the basis that he has been guaranteed starts. We cannot afford to be a testbed for a young kid finding his feet, we are in a scrap here and can't afford passengers getting a game because of a gentleman's agreement with Ferguson. I have no proof to back up that theory - it is just a hunch, but if that is what Flicker has agreed to then he wants fecking shooting.
I don't know what has gone wrong with Flicker, he seems to have completely lost the plot with team selections. Some of his decisions are bizarre.
My worry is that he never had the plot in the first place but just had a lucky run of form that often happens when a new boss takes over and he is now being found out.
Oh dear, hope not. I'm just hoping that Man C and all the talent at their disposal was just too great for us to contend with.
Yeah but you did not quote my full statement did you? You edited it so it looks different ! I did say the commentary team as well. That was the first time I have seen him myself and I was not impressed, we have players here that can do a better job, in my opinion anyway.
The only reason I can think to play him ahead of Mellis is that SAF wanted it......I shall explain myself.. Its a well know secret that clubs loaning players want them to play, and for smaller clubs to get them, they have to agree with this.....ie if you want to get winger Smith on loan, you must play him because the manager of ..Downtheroad United..as been on the phone, he wants him and will play him in ever game... That's how links are formed with the big boys....I fully expect Tunnicliffe to start on Tuesday..for this reason..that's how it works and how to jump the Que for season long loans in future This just my opinion not based on any fact in this case....
