No, that can't be true. Why would he want to leave Brighton and take a backwards step by managing a team in the Premiership. Brighton have the best ground, bestest fans and best team in the country and it's a matter of time before they win the Premiership. He was linked with the Barcelona job earlier this week, but why would he want to leave Brighton to go there...etc...etc...

We are often prone to exaggeration, but the fact is that he has a secure job here with relatively little pressure, a patient chairman who gives him a decent amount of money to play with without being excessive, an adoring fanbase and he's building his own project down here. There's a pretty reasonable chance that both us and Reading will be in the Championship next season. I'm not saying it's a sideways move or a step backwards but I don't think it's a big enough step up to serious tempt him away from what he's got planned down here.

It would purely depend on how much money he was offered, let's be right.

Of course, he would definitely take £10m now from Chelsea (they're rumoured to be sniffing around) but be gone by the end of the summer.

Really can't see Chelsea going for him to be honest. No room for sentiment in abramovich's world and poyet doesn't exactly have an amazing cv. Why go for poyet when you can afford a world class manager?

I can see why he wouldn't go to reading but if they offer him enough money, he'll go.

How do you fancy your chances tonight?

I think Chelsea would go for Zola before Poyet, I agree that he's got practically nothing on his CV. A League One championship and that's about it...

I'm not that confident tonight, things just don't seem to be going for us lately and you're only one place below us in the form table. Of course you're bottom of the table at the moment but that doesn't make a lot of difference in this league. I'd be reasonably happy with a hard-earned draw, a little more disappointed if we muller you but you snatch an equaliser, pretty annoyed if we lose but fantastic if we win, so nothing new there then!

How do you see the game going?

Cheers mate, really not too sure. I am hanging on to the hope that you are struggling with strikers, bridge is out and you don't fancy the Yorkshire cold!

We HAVE to win in my opinion, given our position in the league which might be enough to see us through but if you play as well as you can, then the most likely outcome is a Brighton win. Therefore I think we must hope you are under-par but we can influence that by getting stuck in from the off, something we failed to do on Sunday but I think that was due to the fact that the man city players were always thinking a few seconds ahead of us.
