Is it possible to find out where they come from, I dont mean the email address, but who they actually belong to or place they are sent from? If so is it easy to do?

I have just been sent a strange one, well earlier today not just at this minute.

    Thanks.

The email headers will tell you the route that it took and where it started from, but it is trivial to spoof an email address and make it look like it comes from someone else.

You'll get the message headers by opening the email, clicking the arrow next to actions and then Vew Message source. This should show a trace of where the Emails have come from including the original IP from this it should be possible to try to trace (unless it was sent from a webmail account)
