I wouldn't mind that Bob Marley chant, apart from the fact that people only sing it until we're losing and then Flicker is retarded and all the other rubbish that goes with it. Sort of goes against the meaning of the chant.

Also, that Palace chant is *****, same as City fans doing the poznan. Stop copying off European teams, think of something yourself.

YRA is a Leeds song and I totally refuse to sing it. Don't worry sounds good I personally think. Come on you boys in red, is **** and winds me up.

    JOB song,
We signed the lad from Motherwell Jimbo Jimbo
He loves to play down at Oakwell Jimbo Jimbo
He gets stuck in, He int a coward
He's much better than Brian Howard
    Jim O'Brien Barnsley's number 8!!!!

Same tune as the torres song.

In the last week between this and another thread we have had every song we sing criticised by somebody. Obviously not everybody can like everything but if we took all those opinions on board it really would be a library at Oakwell. For what it's worth I think anybody making some noise to support us should be credited, if you really don't like a song don't join in but if there are much worse things in life and football to get wound up about.

He said in his programme notes today that he loves it and that it calms him down. I think it's **** but it's still an improvement on so many clubs singing a generic version of Seven Nation Army.

Didn't this Marley chant come from Ajax fans at Old Trafford?

I love it for the simple reason it generates an atmosphere.
Oakwell has been morgue-like for long enough. All of a sudden we have three sides of the ground singing.
The meaning behind it is very apt.

I think it helps the team when we're winning more than singing any other song. Calms them down and stops us from panicking.
