    Interesting comments attributed to Etuhu from Sheffield Telegraph:

    BARNSLEY midfielder Kelvin Etuhu believes new boss David Flitcroft has “united” the club.
    “The gaffer has brought everybody together,” revealed Etuhu. “No disrespect to the previous manager, but at the time there were a lot of different individual groups.
    “But now everyone is together and everyone wants everyone to do well whether you’re playing or not.
    “The atmosphere is the main difference. On the training ground it’s great.
    “The fans are getting behind us and we need that.

    That can't be true. Keith Hill was the bestest manager ever.

    As with most things, the truth will fall between two extremes, probably towards the 'negative' one in Keith Hill's case, but I must be getting hyper sensitive in me old age, because we seem to be on a process of character assassination wrt Hill.

    Instead of praising Flitcroft it's an excuse to stick the boot in. Hey ho.

    Ok, I'll praise what Flicker has done and ignore what Hill did....

    sigh.

    Let's hope we don't have another Bristol and Bolton result in quick succession soon, otherwise Flitcroft will be back to being Hill-clone, anti-Hassell etc etc.

    Flitcroft showing just how close he was. A slight tweak in style and bang.

    Positivity the biggest difference though. But I still miss the crazy *******.

    There was no positivity with Hill.

    Re: Flircroft United the club

    No.

    Hill = Hitler.

    Flitcroft = Mother Theresa

    Until we lose a couple then he's just Hill reincarnated, with an agenda against Hassell/Foster etc etc.

    Re: Flircroft United the club

    Let's be right though, Flitcroft talks about the opposition in glowing terms as much as Hill does. Difference being he says afterwards 'we beat a top, top side' rather than 'we lost to a top, top side'

    Just look at the reaction to 'Hassell-gate' to show the similarities.

    Slight tweak? Understatement there dys. The difference under flicker has been massive. Style, formation, tempo, personnel, all different.

    I still thought we were the hardest working side in the league under Hill. Said it a few times and that's why I never got the monk on.

    Flitcroft went to 3-5-2, granted, but only brought one player in to the side in Kennedy. Not really a massive change in personnel at the time really. And the biggest shift was playing in their half. Simple but effective.

    Did you notice us playing the good old diamond formation on Saturday that everyone said was ****? 4 at the back, Perkins just in front with Mellis, Etuhu & O'Brien in front?

    Massive shift in results but I still believe we were very close under Hill. Prime example - Birmingham at home. 0-0, we miss a penalty and lose. Brighton & Leeds at home. We get a penalty and win.

    Can't see the problem in bad mouthing Hill. He did it to us often enough when he was here. He's nowt to do with us any more, thank the lord, and personally speaking I think he's a lovely person.

    I'm getting bitter and twisted in my old age and I think it suits me.

    Folk can say what they want for me, and I can say what I want about them saying what they want.

    He's gone, some folk find it as hard to let go as Dyson.

    Stop being a set of bummers. Hill has gone, we have a new boss and he's a ******* miracle worker. Dunno if he knows how is doing it but I'm sick of talking about Hill. He's gone and we have a reight chance of staying up because of it.

    You Flicker inspired Reds.

    I agree with Jay, Hill was a lovely person btw.
