Just announced a near 3.6 million profit for the last financial year. For a team with such small crowds and such reasonable ticket prices they do very well at buying players on the cheap and then selling them for multi millions (Mackail Smith 2.5 million is part of this financial year but even without him it's a 7 figure profit still).
Well run little club, shame they're in the bottom 3. We need more teams like ourselves and Peterborough competing at this level to prove that money doesn't necessarily buy success.
Aye, it's okay when you are buoyed up by choice loan signings from yer Dad. I think I'd be showing a profit if I had the manager of the world's biggest football club bailing me out.

They currently have only two Man Utd players in on loan of which added up together have made 10 appearances all season. 2011/2012 - they had one. 2010/2011 - they had zero. so yeah, it's a bit of a myth really... we've probably had roughly the same number of Man United players in over the same number of seasons...
Still it's not really "Daddy is helping me out", is it? It's only one more player than what we have. Also from what we've seen from the United academy player we currently have on loan, they're not all shaped up to be playing Premiership / Champions League football in the foreseeable future. The biggest impact player they've had this year i believe is the Gayle kid they've taken on loan from Dag and Redbridge.
I reckon we've had as many on loan from Man Utd whilst Fergie Junior has been at Posh as they have. It's more of an assumption people make rather than actual fact, same as 'we only sign players from Rochdale', when we've only signed two and had a couple more that's played for them.
