Hi guys, im a proud season ticket holder at the King Power stadium and go to a few away games including Barnsley yesterday.

I've basically come on here to ask why you are near the bottom!!??
Yes we were woeful particularly first half but i personally gave alot of credit to you lads, you outclassed us in every department.
I expected you to be a tad cautious as most sides are against us but you came out firing and utterly battered us.
As a foxes fan, it was hard to take but sometimes an amount of praise has to go to the opposition. I really hope you stay up because you were a joy to watch.

Also, a big congratulations to Tom Kennedy and Chris O'Grady. nice to see them doing well particularly O'Grady who came through our youth system

I was very impressed with your little blond lad in centre mid, is it Perkins? He looked impressive!

Because we managed to find a manager even worse than Nigel Pearson for the first six months of the season.

Thanks for the post mate, really unusual for someone to give credit to any opposition rather than be introspective after a defeat...

Nigel Pearson is a good manager and i like the bloke but he doesnt seem to be able to get us out of this slump. He's halved our wage bill and built a decent side but our players seem to of changed personalities!!!

As i say mate, we were terrible but you were excellent, you'll stay up with ease playing like that!!! Hope O'Grady gets a few more.

    Keith Hill that bad then?

    Apparently he was ill yesterday.
I really rate the guy. First half of the season, he was up there with our best player but he's faded as the season as gone on but i think he's shattered, he'd started every game before yesterday and has taken alot of responsibility. Some of our fans are idiots though and dont rate him. Yesterday proved he's better than the other the options we have

Two words sum up the reason why were in the relegation dog fight... Keith Hill. Any thanks for the positive feedback, it's nice to hear fans being gracious in defeat for a change.

We are where we are because our crap former manager got given too long to turn things around. Some points about your own club.......

    1) Is Paul Konchesky always that bad? From the moment Scott Wiseman went around him like he wasn't there his confidence was shot for the rest of the game. His passing was poor and he gave the pen away with a stupid challenge.

    2) Kasper is a class keeper and kept the scoreline respectable. Noticeable how your whole team was nearly up the tunnel and Kasper was still stood in the Ponte end penalty box hand on hips looking at the floor until Stephen Dawson reached him while applauding the fans. I hope our club photographer have a photo of that for our match gallery (although can't see the Watford galery on our website from the other week still).

    3) Have you got some new chants? Usually you just repeat "Leicester" constantly but it seems you've learned some new words.

    4) "We want our Leicester back". You are like Blackburn fans for hating on foreign owners :)

    5) Who would you play up front? It can't be easy for Pearson to keep seven decent strikers happy with game time.

He played well for us during the short spell we had him, glad to hear he`s still putting in a performance.

    Thanks for the feedback mate.
You need to keep hold of Flitcroft now, he's clearly doing a good job!
You have some very good players there and should be much further up.

    In response to your questions....

    1. Paul Konchesky is our mr consistent normally, he's become a fans favourite over 2 years but he was abysmal yesterday, possibly his worst game in a foxes shirt. Lets be fair, he's getting no younger though!!

    2. Kasper is our best keeper since we had Tim Flowers in the Prem. He's been outstanding and he will applaud the fans every game win, lose or draw. Did you not hear our chant yesterday of 'we want a team full of Schmeichel's?' He at least shows some passion for the club

    3. Our away support is normally pretty good, we seemed to find a few new one's yesterday but alot were taking the p*ss out of our own team

    4. We sang this because we are literally unable to explain the difference in our team. We were automatic promotion contenders and now we'll do well to get in the playoffs

    5. Wood and Nugent were awesome when Wood first signed but he's suddenly turned into a Sunday player. O'Grady and Scotland gave Wood a masterclass on how to control a ball, use your body well and look up. Vardy looks out of his depth, Kane just hasnt done it for us, Waghorn i just dont know and then we had young Schlupp that came on yesterday who actually looked lively and made a difference

I'll give you a one word answer to your question 'confidence'!
First half of the season we had zero, but Flicker has come in and instilled it into our players. Its given them the belief to play good attacking football.
What you witnessed yesterday is a direct result of that.
If I'm honest I think that is what was missing from Leicester's performance yesterday.

Thanks for your comments on our performance, make a change for opposition fans to give us some credit.

I'm sure Pearson will steady the ship and steer you into a playoff berth. Good luck for the rest of the season

We're near the bottom because after our 0-5 win over Birmingham we were woeful until Hill got the sack, cut adrift in a mini league with Wednesday, Bristol City and Peterborough.
Since Flitcroft took over at the start of this year we've got more points per game than anyone else, scored more goals than everyone except Watford and we're the only team to have not failed to score.

Unfortunately everyone else around us has been picking up points against other teams, especially Wednesday and Peterborough. That's why everyone at the top of the league is in bad form, and everyone at the bottom is in good form. I'm confident we'll stay up this season, it would just be nice if we got a bit of luck and teams around us started dropping points.

Perkins is a machine and he's the player all opposition fans pick out. I don't know if that's because he's easily recognizable though. He's got a great touch, a burst of speed, snaps at the heels of the opposition all day long and never stops running. I'm glad you took Drinkwater rather than him.

Well you looked like a side at the top, zipping the ball about at pace, attacking with purpose etc.

We have absolutely no confidence and Pearson cant seem to change it. Its very worrying but we still should of shown more effort and desire in that first half

Im very very confident you'll stay up playing like that. It'll be a traversty if you dont!
Didnt you hear us singing 'we'll see you again next season...'?

Yes Perkins is very recognizable but he was very very good but then again your whole midfield was, completely dominated. O'Grady was class and i was impressed with your full backs although we know Kennedy very well at Leicester

Keith Hill put together a decent side, and focused on ball retention. We played some good football under Hill but often with no end product.

Flicker has taken the same side, albeit with O'Grady in it and the odd cameo from Scotland and Delap, and got them playing more direct. We get the ball forward much more and after a few wins, youu could see the confidence in the players. Now if we do have a bad performance, we have the ability to bounce back. We've lost just 4 games in the league (I think) since Flicker took over, only one of which at home. We've turned Oakwell into a fortress and it should be a formality that we pull ourselves clear. My only worry is that everyone else around us seems to be playing well too, and these 2 difficult away games we have coming up may just prove a stretch too far for us, and our poor first half will catch up with us in the end.

As for yesterdays game, I feel we beat you because you're a side who try to play football, but with Perkins and Dawson in our side, we seem to deal with footballing teams pretty well. Had you aimed the ball up to Wood's head for 90 minutes, you might have beaten us comfortably, as we simply can't deal with the ball in the air.

I've had the pleasure to meet a few Leicester fans in the past, you're a decent, honest bunch and I wish you all the best for the rest of the season.

    Thanks for the comments pal.

Im not convinced we'd of beat you with long ball to be fair, you were too good for us.
Wood isnt the same player he was 2 months ago and we just have no confidence.

I've mentioned Kennedy and O'Grady but Dawson also came through our youth system so im glad he's doing well, good to see

Because our previous leader took us on a long, arduous path of discovery so our current manager could reap the rewards of his endeavours.

Chris did you ring radio Sheffield phone-in up yesterday? A couple of Leicester fans rang in and were complimentary towards us and one of them Singled Perkins out for praise. Anyway thanks for your comments and best wishes for the rest of the season.

I didnt ring no but nice to hear a couple of our fans did.
Whilst we all love our club with a passion, we're all football fans so its only right we acknowledge other teams as well
