Do we go for it or settle for another point as defeat won't really change anything.

just hope we dont get hammerd, our goal differance is very similar to Sheff Weds and that could become vital with a couple of games to go

it's being discussed on other threads as well. psychologically we could take this as a 'free hit'. we're expected to lose, and if we do i don't really think it hurts us. the only thing we have to guard against is goal diff. bottom line, i can't imagine flicker approaching it any differently than any other game.

Is it? Still cost a bit to get there though. And it's a school night.

I've not been today but have we played to win down there? Sounds like we've played for a point. I'm not knocking that at all a point at palace is a cracking result

It's a good psychological edge to have going into the Cardiff game. The manager and players know they have more to gain than lose and can play with extra confidence.

I've just realised that I can go to this game - had my week rearranged next week, should have been in Glasgow but am now in Bristol all week on a training course in the office, so can be in Cardiff in half an hour or so. Sweet - another ground to tick off. :)

Agree about the goal difference, ours, Wednesdays, Wolves, Blackburn's and Peterborough's all very similar, within 2 goals of each other. It's very important that we don't get tonked, the game in hand could prove to be a poisoned stick if we were tonked.

On a similar theme, I can't believe how bad Huddersfield's is - it is virtually equivalent to a dropped point.
