i wouldnt be surprised, ive listened to their fans on the radio and theyve turned on him....not sure if sacking him is right...maybe?
I hope Stoke go down, then get relegated from the Championship, and pretty much buggered off to nowhere. Dirty b*stards.
They're not playing well or getting results but as far as I can remember this is the first really bad run they've had since he got them promoted. I just think that after getting them into and keeping them in the premier league he deserves a bit more loyalty.
They've been moaning about his negative tactics for months, never try and win, just not lose. I think this has gone on a few years now, and while they've always looked comfortable staying in the prem Stoke fans have put up with it, but when you look like its going to take you down.....
Why? They play crap, negative, synical football. IF it keeps you up then most fans will stomach it, but if you aren't winning AND its crap then you've got less good will to draw on, seems fair to me.
I'm no fan of his style of football but it got them up and has kept them up so to sack him at this point seems very harsh IMO.
TBH it would be totally predictable. The Stoke fans sold their souls years ago, the way I understand it most of them didn't like Pullis or his style of play from the start but the shut their eyes to it because they were winning. Their have been various mini rumblings over recent seasons when they hit a sticky patch. Can't stand them personally and would love to see them in freefall.
