but it's something i've noticed over last few weeks.

Hassell seems to be wanting to fight with people in press. Firstly he had his battle with David Jones about O'Grady and them playing Rugby (sheffield star and chronicle) then i've seen on here he's bite at Blake.

I'm sure the manager would just say concentrate on your Football Hassell and let other comment on the style of football or if the loan of COG was a good thing for Sheffield Wednesday.

I'll be honest, he's got in to the team and his positional sense his first class. But he doesn't know how long he might be in the team with three centre backs hopefully getting fit very soon.

It's not like you to take any chance to mention Bobby Hassell tbh.

He can fight with whoever he wants for me - 3 goals conceded in his last 5 games I think.

But he missed a chance last night also Dyson. If he puts that extra 1% in to his football maybe he puts it away and barnsley go one nil up.

Mate, leave it. He missed a header but then practically set up the goal too.

Claridge, who was bang in line with the cross, reckoned he were int reight position for that but ball moved a lot in the air and thats why he failed to hit the target.

So you have to find something else to have a go at him for because he's in the team and doing well!

Between Sat 2nd Feb and Tuesday 12th March we played 9 games without keeping a clean sheet. Bobby started just one of those games. In the next game Delap came off injured in the 6th minute and Bobby has played ever since. In that time we've kept three clean sheets in 5 games! We've conceded just 3 goals in that time. It's been our best defensive run of the season.

The last game that Bobby started before that run of 9 games? Hull away in the cup where we also kept a clean sheet. In his last 7 full games we've won 4 drawn 2 and lost 1 conceding just 4 goals and keeping 4 clean sheets.

    The man's a marvel.

Read the post Jay just made. It's fair to say Sir Bobby is very much concentrating on his football (like setting up and scoring goals). I've really enjoyed his spats in the press at the people you have mentioned. Nine times out of ten football players give boring and bland generic interviews showing too much respect or speaking as if they are reading from a script and scared shitless of upsetting someone. Therefore it's very refreshing seeing him speak his mind and not giving a **** what others think of his views. Long may it continue.

It seems like you are having a go because that's what you do at *every* single opportunity. It's very boring and gives us the impression you have serious issues. Pack it in, eh?

Bobby was absolutely fantastic for us last night, man of the match for me. Nathan Blake's comments certainly pissed me off and I would imagine Barnsley players would find them even more offensive coming from a fellow "professional". Of course, he should have the right to reply! To use it as another stick to beat him with in your weird crusade is just laughable.

Have Hassell and Foster been our centre back pairing before in seasons past, I cant recall (memory deserting quickly). I remember Hassell and Foster vying for right back spot but not for central position.
