Anybody read it? Completely changed my mind about the man, I thought he was a talentless arse. Makes a good point about her and her acolytes trying to destroy the whole idea of community (she probably thought they were all communists) http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2013/apr/09/russell-brand-margaret-thatcher
Very intelligent and entertaining and thought provoking view well thought out. never liked or disliked Russell to be honest But he's gone up a notch in my view
He's a really intelligent, funny and perceptive bloke underneath acting like a vain arse. He used to write a great football column on Saturdays in the guardian
I'll look out for more of his stuff. Didn't realise that he was acting when he was being an arse. Johnny Vegas style?
Can't stand him. One of those people that I could just stand there and constantly punch him in the face, but, he showed there how intelligent he really is
Did you ever watch Russell Brand's Ponderland? I always thought he came across intelligent there too - and funny.
Yeah, pretty much. I used to have a similar view of him as Doddy, couldn't stand him and thought him a total nob, but when I started reading his columns his humour and intellect won me over. He's often really self deprecating, but when you see him in bursts of mainstream tele his ego is going supernova and he's mainly just obnoxious. Shame really.
It would have cost me too much money in constantly throwing the remote at the tele. I just can't do with him. He's about as annoying as a dose of clap, or Eaststand Lower
Tbf, it was because she didn't want to settle down and have kids, it wasn't actually because he was a man slag this time. He talks about having kids and being a dad quite alot in his interviews.
So so far we've had Billy Bragg, Morrissey and Russell Brand, the UK's real intellectual heavyweights.
Yeah I know!! But it turns out my fiance doesn't agree with the whole if you meet a celeb you should have a free pass thing I totally would let him with his choice of never going to meet celeb but he's a no go. (He seems to think I will hunt Russell down and that he would agree to it).
That was the best football column ever. He is a bit of a twonk, but very bright and sometimes very funny!!
