2 Hour Special tonight because of Wilson Sacking!!!

That'll be 2 hours of their life anybody that listens won't get back.

 

Would that be like the two hour special that we got when Hill was sacked?

we wouldnt get 2 hour even if we ever got back up to the premiership.

 

Very sad that he's got sacked because apart from his one good season with us 15-16 years ago he's had a nack at the many many clubs he's been at, at failing to win promotion for them and he was continuing that theme this season.

 

I've just tweeted Staton and Football 'Heaven' saying I don't recall a 2 hour special when Hill was dispensed with. In fact, I don't recall any kind of 'special' whatsoever.

Also, I tweeted last night saying Morgan should be new Blunts manager (Agent Morgan).

I got a reply from a Blunt saying - "He'll cave your skull in!"

Classy as ever.

I lost it years ago mate, but even so, I definitely listened to a Radio Sheffield phone in where they only took calls from Barnsley FC fans about the Keith Hill sacking.

 

I dunt think it was a BFC only but they emphasised that they'd be talking about Hill's sacking mainly in the programme.

I think it's fairly well documented that radio Sheffield are ****.

 

That's probably it. It was after the Blackburn match I believe and there was just call after call about Keith Hill. I thought they extended the show for an hour, but I couldn't swear on that.

 

It wasn't a two hour special. It was a regular football heaven/PoG that offered Hill's sacking up as a potential talking point.

Our special that he refers to upon Keith's appointment was June 1st, in close season, hence the low amount of callers. Although I remember it well and we had to put up with 30 minutes of interviews and the presenters giving us their opinion.

We didn't get a special when Flitcroft was appointed either.


I rarely tune in anymore. It's a proper Sheffield love-in, mainly pro-Blunts.

And on that subject, it's a little strange that the presenters are able to read out txts referring to us as 'Dingles' but not txts referring to the Sheffield clubs as 'Pigs', 'Deedars' or 'Blunts'.

Everybody and everything relating to the above are bias bit-brains.

 

Be good if we can get wab radio more public support and get our own football heaven going

 

Would be ideal but don't think we have the audience/numbesro justify it.

What about getting Dearne FM to look into it.......they seem to be very pro Barnsley. If I were involved at BFC then I would be looking to utilise Dearne FM as the vehicle to promote us, as we would no get diluted by any of the dee-dar clubs.

That said,I'm not sure what contractual obligations we have with BBC radio.
