I was a very ignorant anti German until i actually got off my arse and travelled there. My favourite country now. It's clean, plenty of bars, very friendly and the football's dirt cheap. The problem i had was believing everything our anti German red tops printed.

And they are able to do that because they are controlling main land Europe.

Not many people will say good things about the PM but what i will say, he'll get a lot of support from people from the people of Britain, Ireland and Europe if he stands up to sour face merkel

Since the year of the Premier League's inception (92/93), there have been 5 different title winners.

In that time, there have been 5 different title winners in Spain and Italy, too.

And 6 different winners in Germany.

So that blows your 'only one team can win it' theory out of the water.

All 4 of the top European leagues have an issue with 2 or 3 clubs dominating.

No, they just happen to have the best economy as they didn't ruin theirs thinking shopping centres were the answer.
Forced what things? go on, name one thing they 'forced through'. They have a vote, same as everyone else
'Innocent Cypriots' OMG the place is full of Russian gangsters and Greek tax dodgers. They asked the Cypriot Govt to put up some cash to secure YET ANOTHER GERMAN BAILOUT.
Don't go on, you obviously haven't the slightest idea what you are talking about at all. Germany is a cracking place. I advise anyone to go see for themselves.

Oh those pesky Germans with their hard work ethic benefitting from the undervalued Euro so they can export all that stuff they make. Goddamit! if only everyone else in Europe had the same labour costs, raw material costs and currency costs as those pesky krauts. Oh hang on, yes they frikken do! but they'd rather sit around in the sun outside cafes smoking camel dung cigarettes and growing silly moustaches than actually do some bloody work. But times are tough you say, the German people need to look out for everyone else, just like we did when they had to absorb the cost of reunification when the wall came down, Oh no! silly me! They did that all by themselves.
I don't get your point, or the point of the article you posted. The Germans are bad because they are better at running their country than others? That makes them bullies? The Germans work hard and have a successful and fairly equitable economy. Most of the rest of Europe is inefficient if not bone idle. I admire their patience to be honest.

Switzerland were unbeaten at the World Cup in 2006, so by your logic now Switzerland are on a level with Spain and England.

Re: Why no representatives of the 'best league in the world' ?

If the Germans are that good why did they have a 0.6 lower output in the last 1/4 of 2012?

    They are bullies.
The UK PM's got to stand up to sour face merkel.
They tried to put some tax on banks to benefit them and only them same as everything.

Germans haven't changed in the last 100 years and never will it seems.

That's you though - I preferred to watch Dortmund v Malaga over Real both times.

I'd rather watch any other Spanish team over Real Madrid.

And here it all comes out, it's got nothing to do with football and everything to do with your xenophobia!

A tax on banks - yes, if everyone did it then we might get out of the mess we are in.
