And that's me again on the left, in the rather smart fitting shorts. What you can't see from the picture, is that i'm actually saying 'will someone put this fire out, it's silly'

notice the spineless Chav hiding his/her face

I would wager he/she was not even born when Thatcher was in the big house.

I have very mixed feelings about Thatcher, but I will say that if you are gonna say owt say it to her face as it were.

She shafted the mining and steel industry , well in fact her domestic policies were questionable to put it mildly. But did she and she alone make the decisions, she as all PM's did have a cabinet & a party to take responsibilities, and many things would or should have gone through the commons if not the Lords. On the world stage she did very well, maybe the Falklands was a debatable issue for many. But like or loathe she will go down in history as perhaps one of the most influential British premieres since Sir Winston Churchill. However I do disagree with the level that her funeral is going to take. It will spark off a huge amount of trouble. Perhaps a more private affair woulda been better.

Those histories are still very relevant to many of us who grew up with it. If you are a fascist totalitarian, I suppose burning books is okay.

    stage manage pictures

like when the coppers on the coaches going into steward the pits were waving wads of money at the Mining pickets. This incensed the picketers to attack the buses... but did the press show the Coppers doing their "LOADSSSSAAA MONEY" not on your life as It was a huge chance to show the evil miners.

The photographers were treated like criminals and still are. Jess, who took the picture of the burning book is a founder member of the 'I am a Photographer, not a Terrorist' group. Nothing changes.

This is the horror that photographers have to deal with on a daily basis. The Killing Fields

Re: notice the spineless Chav hiding his/her face

Why is she so significant the only thing she was competent of was division and conflict and the filling of boots by spivs and speculators at the expense of our industries and communities nothing else she did was significant to deserve the accolade the ruling classes and their media lapdogs are forcing upon the nation.
This is done fr the sole purpose of taking g away the botched handling of the economy and fr the dignitary's to have a posh piss up on the nation.

If I had the time, I would read it. Know your enemy. I wouldn't dismiss it as irrelevant either, Thatcher was very good at what she did and very accomplished at what she set out to do. If she was irrelevant, we wouldn't even be discussing her.
Dave doesn't have anywhere near as much talent, but he is still a dangerous basterd. Those who don't learn from history, risk repeating it.
